Kasokomona granted KR 5,000 Bail



THE Lusaka Magistrate Court has granted Paul Kasokomona, a KR 5,000 bail after he pleaded not guilty to one count of idle and disorderly court in the court.
Kasokomona appeared before Lusaka magistrate Lameck Ngambi.
It is alleged that Kasonkomona, 38 of Chululu Garden Township on April 7, 2013 in Lusaka being a person in a public place namely Muvi TV studios on a programme called “The Assignment” did solicit for moral support for homosexuality rights to be respected in Zambia.
Magistrate Mr Ngambi granted Kasonkomona a KR5, 000 bail in his own recognisance with two working sureties. He is being represented by Lusaka lawyer, Sunday Nkonde.
Trial in the Paul Kasonkomona case would start on 15th May, 2013 and the State would call about five witnesses.
Kasokomona was arrested on Sunday, April 7, 2013, within Muvi television station premises after featuring on a live programme dubbed The Assignment.
