The new Government is proactive in its approach to policy implementation and many other several national issues but we have had several incidences when PF overlooked the constitution.
So far the PF Government has bleached the constitution more than three times. During the inauguration President Sata pledged to protect the constitution but the following day he bleached it by appointing more MPs than the required number.
He again went further by combining and changing ministries names without Parliament ratification. It was not surprising that he again abolished the office of the Secretary to the Treasury without parliament ratification.
In as much as he wants to do away with MMD and RB he should be mindful not to have brain drain of institutional memory.
