Maintain the Christian nation clause in the Constitution-Don Moen

Don Moen.
INTERNATIONAL gospel artist Donald James has urged Zambia to maintain the Christian nation clause in the Constitution and urged Zambians not to give up but work hard and have hope.
James who is popularly known as Don Moen was speaking when he arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka ahead of his appearance at the Mount Zion church annual Unleashing the Kingdom of God summit to be held at the Bread of Life’s Blessings Centre in Lusaka tonight.
“Never ever exclude God from your Constitution because he is the one who makes a way regardless of what one is going through,” he said.
He said the Constitution should have more biblical principles as citizens were more political and might lose grip of the biblical word.
The 62 year old singer added that Zambians should always hope for the best and that they should not give up because God has a way of seeing his people.
“God has a way of seeing his people through, so don’t give up just believe and trust in the Lord,” he said.
The singer on Wednesday performed at a concert at Woodlands stadium where scores of residents turned up and today’s appearance at the Unleashing the Kingdom of God summit is anticipated to be another huge event following his large fan base in Zambia.
He said he was ready to give a platform to upcoming Zambian gospel artists so that the industry could grow.
“Keep doing what you are doing. You have tremendous talent and you do not need to promoted by a manager because the Holy spirit will open the doors for you,” the renowned singer said.
